    Hey guys, as you can see I'm new to this forum, so I just wished to introduce myself! I can tell there are many knowledgeable individuals and a great deal of useful information to be absorbed from this site, and I look forward to doing so. I am in the process of shopping for my first Ferrari, and let me tell you I am SO PUMPED about it! I have my sights on a F360 Modena coupe, although I am utterly in love with the F430 Scuderia (is there a more beautiful car in the world?). Unfortunately, my budget is a paltry $120K, so I will have to be patient on the Scuderia. I had a few questions though if anybody could answer them, ones that my research has been fruitless regarding. First off, I read at some point that there were changes made to the 360 sometime between 2000-2001; is there anything in particular I should be cognizant of? Forgive my ignorance if the information is already available on the site. In the meantime, any additional advice to a first time prospective Ferrari buyer with his heart set on the 360 Modena would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again all!

    Welcome to the site. You might get a better response if you post your questions on the '360/430' site. It's a little further down the page.

    Don't post the question in the 360/430 section! Its only been asked about a bizzillion times, just do a search and you will get plenty of answers. Plus its a great to read thru the threads, you will learn a lot of info!
    All changes were complete in '02 on the 360. The '99 models have NO pre-cats and thus, slightly more hp and sound much better as well! You will find many arguments about different years, just find a well documented and sorted out car. Lastly, spend some time at your local Fcar dealer and talk to the techs and learn all you can from them.
