    Hi guys,

I have a F355 and am hoping to get some opinions.

My question relates to the luggage that originally came as an option (when purchasing the car brand new from a dealer).

My F355 currently has no luggage, but I have often been tempted to purchase a set on those rare occasions that they are posted for sale online.

Do you guys think that having the luggage when selling the car would increase its resale value at all?

Are there really people out there who would pay that "little bit extra" when a car comes with items like this?

Would be interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

    Thanks in advance :)

$0 additional value IMHO except for that very rare buyer that might actuallly want the luggage. Have a friend with F355 luggage, never used in 20+ years.

If you have a top-score Concours car with 2500 miles, it might add value as it would look nice at the car shows.

A standard (but nice) driver 355? I wouldn't pay extra for luggage that will live in my closet.

i have luggage for the 512tr, the 456mgt, and the f40, and i have used them all.
frankly i think they are pretty cool.
for some older models the luggage is now hard to find, so at some point it might be valuable.
but only get the set if you are intending to use it.

I would say the luggage adds to the resale value of the car by the going rate for the luggage on the secondary market at the time of the resale. It does look cool in the pictures.
