You can call me a moron, but I have done Google searches, etc and still don't quite understand.

What is the difference between standard seats and daytona seats? I know what racing seats look like. Maybe someone could post a picture of each or something. Thanks in advance.

The "seat" is the same ........... the pattern of the leather in the center of the seat is whats different.

The daytona seat is a broken line in the middle the standard seat is all the way across. Also the daytona seat can have its inserts customized to color specification...the seat itself is no different I don't believe in terms or width or anything, just the middle portion.

Thanks F40 for his thorough explanation

If that's what you want to do.

How would you explain what the Daytona seats look like?

i believe the "chairs and flares" option on the Dinos was something similar to Daytona seats for the "chairs" part and the wheel wells were flared out wider than usual for the "flares" part...

Man...I want to make easy chairs out of those seats. Imagine just reclining in front of the TV in those things. Sigh...I think I'm in love...

I'd love that, too. The Daytona seats (from an actual Daytona!) are amazingly comfortable and supportive - pretty surprising for 1960's technology!

LOL!!! Somehow, I can see Peter doing that.

It resembles the tooth side of a timing belt, with holes drilled in between every other tooth pattern by Peter :D LOL, sorry, I just had to!

Daytona seats are difficult to describe, do you call them "ridged design?" "line stitched patterns of leather?"
