Sorry but I didn't know what else to name this thread. I am near Atlanta and if there are any members that are near here who would be willing to allow me to visit and look over/talk about their 308 I'll bring the beer but it'll have to be Sam Adams, Sweetwater 420, or Sierra Nevada Pale Ale cause that's all I drink. Seriously though, I have only been around one of these up close for any length of time and a Lambo Miura when I was in college learning to be a mechanic. Any takers? I thought about asking Dr. Cosgrove but would like to see if there are any owners that are more local than the 2 hour drive to Birmingham. By the way, I don't care what color they are or if they are a project or pristine. If you do your own maintenance that would be a plus but I'm not trying to be picky... Thanks.

Have to agree. Would love to help but being in DC that would be quite a haul...post in your local area and someone should step up. Well now, you see I learned something new yet again, what a great forum. I didn't know about the different region stuff you fellas spoke of because I have focused my attention mainly on the 308 section since that's the only one I'm in interested in. I'll take your advice and apply it with hopefully some luck. You're right, it's colder than a well digger's butt here right now so I'll just read up on my favorite car in front of this fireplace full of hickory and red oak! Thanks ya'll.
