Yeah, I think I'm just as excited as she is regarding the bike. No color coordinated helmet available. Ferrari store online sells a ski helmet for kids though. The use life for the bike is for 3 to 5 years old, so my 3 year old daughter can use it for two years, then my 1 year ld son will be 3 and it will become his bike I suppose. The thing runs on chains instead of belts, a la modern Ferrari standards. Chain life should last longer than a car and is inexpensive to replace. The seat and top frame bar cover are gnuine leather, pretty cool! Yes the splashguard and chain cover are carbonfiber appearing plastic. It even comest with it's own mini tool kit and CD pacaged in a nice box. She hasn't sen it yet. I'll give it to her later today. Oh yeah, the bear is for my one year old son.

Indoctrinate them young and they won't stray over to the Lambo bike. Nice gift.

You'd have to go back to the Schwinn Krate's and the Apollo
bikes from the 70's, of which I had both, for manual shifters.

Awesome memories, I forgot about those Schwinn's. My brother had a green one with a banana seat. My daughter loves "her Ferrari". She hasn't figured out the coasting brake mechanism yet, though. We'll test it around the neighborhood, soon .
