    Newport Autosport has sold the business to Newport European Motorcars. They are the Authorized Rolls Royce dealers. They are the ones located on Harbor Blvd. They will change the name over on the building soon. Don't be shocked when you drive by and see all Rolls'. They might be doing preowned Ferraris also???
    Either way is fine for me as long as the rent check keeps comming in!

    Rolls Royce? Boring!!! Bring back the days when Newport Autosport had high end Ferraris!!!

    An F-chatter was asked to get his car out of there a week ago and that's when I got word. It was apparently a surprise to the guys working there. It's too bad to see it go. No real reason for it other than the newer owners did not share the same enthusiasm as previous.

    Doesn't Newport Auto-Center also sell Rolls Royces? Two RR dealerships in Newport Beach???

    No, Newport Auto Center kept Bentley when Bentley & Rolls Royce split (about 2 years ago???). Rolls was bought by Desert European and opened a temp. location on Harbor Blvd. (WEAK WEAK location).It is called Newport European. Now the made a deal with Newport Autosport. I guess it happened SO fast. Nobody (including us) were aware of it! It's all good. They'll have high end sports cars too.

    I'll continue my nightly walks past the N.A.S. lot in my never ending quest to fight insomnia. Atleast when I get home I have a smile on my face from window shopping/hanging out like a troll.

    Ahhh.... i never got a chance to see it with all the cool Ferrari's in the showroom. Thats a bummer.....

    I am kind of glad becuase I have seen couple of Vanquishes and Lotuses in their old showroom on Harbor Blvd. so maybe they will have more sports cars and the RR. too its good to get some new blood in for a change. too bad they won't have their service here also.
