Another quick question for RI / Newport natives here -- Where's the best Ferrari-friendly parking in Downtown Newport?

I got an invite just this week too, but being a relative newbie to the Ferrari world in general, and a total newbie to Concours events, I think this time I'm just going to go see what winning cars look like, before I embarrass myself ;)

Dave, where in CT are you?

Two tickets will be at the front entrance for you.
I will probably not get the chance to check my e-mail again before the event so if anybody has any questions or needs help with anything feel free to call me at my store. 401-846-0598. Just ask for Ray.

Wow... Now that the holiday weekend's over and I'm back to work, I finally have some time here at the computer to post up about the Newport Concours.

First of all, many, many thanks to Ray G for hooking me up with a couple of passes to the event... very cool of you. I know you were very busy working the event, and we didn't want to bother you, but sometime this summer we should definitely get together for a drink or dinner! That will be a great time, I'm sure, plus I have to have a look at that Viper of yours... :)

The Concours was truly amazing! For a first annual event, this was first class and they seemed to have a great turnout. The location at the Astors was just perfect, and the cars were all just simply gorgeous. Our own Sam Hallowell won an award for his truly beautiful 330. There were only a handful of Ferraris present, but a whole bunch of other marques, ranging from the beginnings of automobile history straight through to the present day -- domestic and import alike. Something for everyone and a treat for any automobile afficionado.

Thanks again, Ray, for a great day!
