Next Generation BMW X5

Hey guys, do any of you have any idea when there's gonna be a major facelift for the X5? my mom is thinking of getting one, but the worst thing would be to buy one soon, and then finding out there's gonna be a facelift a couples months after that.
Any rumours or anything? any year predictions? Hopefully, it'll be one of the better looking outcomes from bmw, like the 6 series!!

 

Even the 6 looks bad. Better to buy the current X5 than one that has been ... disgraced ... plus you won't get stuck with iDrive.

 

That's one of the main reasons we got our 4.4i now instead of waiting for the next one. I wanted the Porsche, dad wanted something that wasn't as expensive (as it would be my moms car and my car half the time) so we settled on the X5 4.4i. Not a bad truck at all. I'm impressed!

Get it now and save yourself the trouble of all that iDrive crap. BMW's should never have introduced that crap because all it does is take away from the entire driving experience. Who buys a Bimmer without the intent of driving it hard? I don't know.. and I don't want to know anyone who does because they certainly aren't car enthusiasts!

 

what are some other plausible options to the x5? i was thinking the new range rover, which does look pretty nice, but the price isnt very similar to the x5's.. any new trucks coming out that i should be aware of? that is pretty similar to the x5?
