Someone should tell Drew that there is only one defending super bowl champ. Not two. I think the Saints are over-hyped.
I'll reserve comment until around 11 PM tonight. In the meantime... [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMRS4eCyg48[/ame]
Should be a good game...that's two years in a row that NO got to open up on Thursday night, but last year's was boring (Minny vs NO)
About to head out of the office to start the pre-game festivities. It looks like there will be no NBA this year so I'm soaking up as much NFL as I can! (Not a fan of Baseball)
Ugh. No first drive TDs last year but can't say that this year. Patrick Robinson might be from FSU and wear #21 but he is no Deon Sanders. Colston fumble! Double ugh.
Quarter and a half in, and GB looks nearly unstoppable at this point. NO seems to be moving the ball well also.
that was a fun game to watch! let's hope the rest of the season goes this way btw Mr. Nut, you wouldn't happen to have a phone number for that blonde Saints cheerleader, would you?
We follow the Chargers here in Southern California, and when I heard the Saints got Sproles I knew they weren't going to miss Reggie Bush. Great game. Great last play. Two linebackers jumping over the line of scrimmage before the running back?! Wow.
Last play? Like Rajiv and Pickett were not in? Off line had not budged them all night...maybe Sproles around end would be too obvious but...ugh. Friday morning qb'ing doesn't seem right... Cheers RE No cover, lost my dollar
I know they say hindsight is 20/20, but before the play I was thinking that was a perfect time to play-action fake a run and send the QB on a bootleg...I think the D would have but and Brees could have walked into the endzone.
Sunday's biggest game? I'm thinking Steelers/Ravens no doubt. Of course easy for me to say since the Saints already played.
Everybody in the entire free world knew that was dive play just by looking at how NO lined up, that was in incredibly bad call. Don't laugh, but I think the best game may be Detroit/Tampa Bay. My gut says the Pitt/Balt game will be a boring defensive slugfest.
