I'm no fan of GB, but that penalty on them for running into the kicker that gave NE a first down on 4th and 21 was beyond ridiculous.
Yep. Started with that GB fumble. What a turn around that was. Game was tied and GB looked in total control, driving down for the go ahead score....then they lost the ball. Amazing what a turnover does
Yea, I was a little concerned until that fumble. It's funny though, Jones was the one mugging every time he had a carry for a gain. He wasn't so cocky after he gave up the ball.
Thanks. I pulled a Paul! My defense pickup for the week, Miami, went crazy and scored beaucoup points! T
Thats one of those calls that seems to not make sense no matter the call. I think most guy's have figured out to run across for the block instead of at the punter. The giants should be grateful the raiders are so terrible becauase it's constantly something for them right now. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/giants-supporting-kyle-lauletta-after-traffic-incident-change-from-eli-manning-still-likely/amp/
Did you hear ex-NFL referee Terry McAuley's reaction? He sounded disgusted with the call and said (twice) that it should have been a 5-yard penalty, running into the kicker not roughing the kicker.
If you hit the kicker on his plant foot, it's personal foul roughing the kicker. In last night's case, the GB player hit him on the other leg, and was actually trying to avoid the contact. I agree with Terry McAuley.
Jamarcus who? Oh yeeaaaaa....... https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/11/05/the-time-raiders-qb-jamarcus-russell-studied-blank-game-tapes-given-him-by-coaches/
Yea, it could have been called the 5 yard variety. However, consider the Pats went 3 and out after the penalty so it had zero effect on the outcome of the game. The call I thought was way off was the ejection of Price. He shouldn't have been ejected for what he did. The only thing I'm wondering is if he then made some disparaging comment about the ref's mother.
OK Tommy boy, you're up tonight! Good luck to the Boys. I'll be watching with interest since the Pats play Tenn next Sunday. Beat'em up bad!
I had Miami defense in FCI, that 25 points gave me the win. Brady underperformed again and I had to pick up some TE named McDonald (2 lousy points) to replace Gronk.
Take this with a grain of salt since it came from Pats radio guys, but their read was the would-be-blocker went after the leg rather than the ball, and did not give the NE punter an opp to land his non-kicking foot...T
Thanks, Paul. I am hopeful for a good game, but as long as it ends with a W, then I'll be happy. NFC East looks to be wide open this year, so the division is there for the 'boys to grab, if they can string together some consistency on the O...T
