Because the BEARS are on in the evening, we get to see the Panthers at the Lions. Kitty Bowl!
The skins are getting away from some really aggregious holding but that pick-6 made it better. Justin Reid is already better than his brother.
Tampa Bay is a dumpster fire. They should cut to the chase and fire the coach now. Isn't their coach the guy that they fired Lovey Smith for? T
I didn't even know Joe theismann had twitter. Oh and it happened to the day. At least that's what the CBS broadcast said. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The Saints are really trashing the Eagles. With the injury to Alex Smith, even the Giants might still have a chance in the NFC East.
The LA Chargers are having a really good season at 7-2 but STILL 9 games into the Season over half of the fans that go to see them play in LA (in an amazingly small venue) wear Bronco swag (who are 3 -6) when the Broncos come to town. LA Chargers: You have a marketing problem.
I guess those Denver fans helped as they pulled out the win. But yeah, I think the Chargers could have still worked something out to stay in San Diego.
With the passing of Alex Spanos, I think that still could happen, and I think that it should. I blame Alex for the team leaving San Diego, and hopefully his son Dean is more willing to negotiate with the city of San Diego. I think it's painfully obvious that the Chargers are not welcome in the L.A. area, with as many fans for the visiting teams showing up in Carson as their own fans. (Honestly, today sounded like a Broncos home game!) And with plans now underway for a new stadium for San Diego State to be built on the site of Qualcomm, maybe the Chargers can negotiate to have that stadium enlarged to NFL capacity. I am also totally against two teams sharing any facility; either the Lakers or the Clippers (probably the latter) should find a new home in the L.A. metro area, and ditto for either the Giants or the Jets.
After today, I think the Atlanta Falcons (who one of my co-workers once dubbed the "Falcoons") are Dead Birds rather than Dirty Birds, and I think the Saints will turn them into Turkeys on Thursday night. I wonder how much patience Arthur Blank will have with his coaches.
