That was a terrible call. The defender was trying to duck out of the way.
It negates the other bad call of a Rams catch in the red zone when it clearly hit the ground and receiver didn't have hands completely under it. They hurried up get the next play off before review and it too led to a TD.
Too much time left for Chiefs. 3 TOs + nearly 2 minutes to run the field. Edit: ESPN prob wants a FG to go to OT...
As good as Tyreek Hill is, he is a bonehead. Twice he should have let the ball bounce into the endzone for the touchback, but instead he tried to be a hero and it hurt his team. And the coaches need to take blame as well for not commanding him to not make the same mistake twice. And that taunting call against him was selfish. Reid needs to control him better.
The way McVeigh coaches will not work in the playoffs. There's a time to be aggressive, and a time to ride your horses that take time off the clock. McVeigh looked like he was trying for style points all night. I predict the Rams not to make the Superbowl
I know a game is good when even my wife gets into it. It was crazy good. Lots of mistakes, but good teams force mistakes. Entertaining is the right word! T
He did indeed. Interesting stat by the Rams radio guys - his QB rating is in the 60s when under pressure. Triple digits in a clean pocket...T
I have not listened to many Chiefs games this year, but I got the impression that for the first time the young man was a tad flustered and rushed. Oddly enough, KC D is near the bottom of the NFL. Not likely to matter much in regular season, as they can brute force outscore most teams. However, in the playoffs when points are at a premium, and they're no longer feasting on cupcakes, you have to think that will be a major worry for the Chiefs...T
You could see it as the game went on, but at least the last two interceptions (only two I paid attention to) were serious where were you throwing kinda plays. You could see kinda where he was going but was it he didn't throw as far as he thought or was a route ran wrong (say that 3x's fast).
Here's ESPN's take on the officiating: http://www.espn.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/287737/why-the-nfls-all-star-game-was-so-sloppy-and-why-it-should-end
The officiating was extremely overbearing last night. Then when the RAMS committed a false start, they didn't call that, which led to a Goffe TD (the one he ran in from 7 yards out). With 31 penalties called, funny that they missed that one.
Shoulder problems for Trubisky. I did not know about this until just now . . . http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000990627/article/bears-nagy-optimistic-mitch-trubisky-plays-vs-lions
A lot of good points in the article. I would have assigned the top-rated crew to the game, but not mix & match...T
Not sure why the NFL felt the need to done that. Is that an admission that their referee staff suck that bad that they have to assemble a crew?

Sometimes I think it would suck to be rich and famous. D**k move by his bro. Call him up, chat it over, settle it with fisticuffs. But to air whatever dirty laundry via Twitter? Lame. T
