I don't think of the Eagles as playing particularly dirty since the Buddy Ryan days. Look up the "Body Bag" game. Heinous coaching.
That "Do over" play was really uncalled for. The clock didn't need to be re-set as the ball had already been snapped when the ref decided to blow his whistle. Heck the full play happened and ended before the other refs knew what this guy called.
I don't need to look it up, I know all about it. I don't think they play dirty either, butsome folks have looooong memories, just like most peoples' thoughts on the Raiders... still to this day.
NOW that we know Purdy has a major injury, no, but if the TV execs had a choice between Phil and SF, I'm pretty sure they'd pick SF. Knowing what we know now, they'd take Phil, as I'm not so sure Josh Johnson is an answer for KC or Cincy, and the last thing they want is a blowout. I stopped paying much attention to Philly and started channel-flipping in the 3rd qtr this past Sunday...
Whisky. I think I speak for Eagles' fans everywhere when I say thanks for not paying attention to the team!
Just heard Sean Payton to the Broncos. And it's supposed to be announced shortly that Demico Ryans will be the Texans HC.
What’s ridiculous is that the do over play wasn’t just the phantom whistle one but the hold and the non-catch (clearly hit the ground) that was given to KC to advance the ball in the first place. Then the no-call roughing the passer on Burrows, and the hold that facilitated Mahomes run where he was hit out of bounds. There’s more KC favored calls in the game than just the fourth quarter ones I mentioned but what difference does it make at this point. The league got the SB they wanted and I hope your Eagles beat the ever loving **** out of the Chiefs for some manner of justice.
Houston has only 3 guys they pay over 8 million a year to, and one wants out (Brandon Cooks)<< and I NEVER would have given him that (18 mill a year). Houston has the 5th most cap space now, do you think they will spend? I don't.
I counted at least a half dozen BS calls/non calls that went KCs way. They never would have won that game if not for the referees.
I'm willing to give him the chance. Demico was always one of the guys I loved to hear speak when he played here. Just seems like a very chill dude. From what they said on the radio this morning, and callers were saying, people are ecstatic.
Nope - not unless the owner has a change in philsophy, but I have a feeling she won't. The less she pays, the more she keeps. There is one team that is blatant about not spending, Chicago has 90 million in cap space, nobody else is close. Who would want to go there? The only cities I would not really care to play in are Chicago, Cleveland, Baltimore, HOUSTON They can be ecstatic all they want, their issues were not on Defense, they couldn't score any points. I like Davis Mills, he's a really good backup, but he's not 'the guy'. They need major help at RB and QB, WR's and TE's are OK - they are just not household names. They decended into darkness when they demoted (fired) Bruce Arians. I don't know WHY teams continue to recycle head coaches that have PROVEN they cannot win....(the big games). Tampa didn't win their division last season, the other three teams all sucked even worse than Tampa was, you could argue if Brady was on Atlanta, Carolina or New Orleans THEY would have won the division...
Apparently, you believe the NFL is a sport. It's not. There is a reason Billionaires are lined up at the door. Cash flow out the wazoo, and tax losses. Money fer nuthin and da chicks fer free.
Lots of respect for Tom Brady. Would have loved to see him get an 8th ring… had a shot last year too Love seeing the all-time greats win same as Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, etc. Question now…… does get back and re-marry Giselle?? That would be a great story. Also, him going on a Leo DiCaprio level tear on the new generation of supermodels would be a great story too.
I guess that's your opinion, but if you ask the actual PLAYERS, they would disagree. The reason guys want to buy teams is because they make a zillion dollars in TV revenue and hat sales. No, he doesn't get back with her. He is no longer PLAYING, but he will spend 3-4 days a week studying teams, flying to games and being a color analyst for FOX, so his football life has only slightly changed. I THINK he is getting paid more to work for Fox than he did playing the game (per season) ??? Who said he wasn't glad he has 7 ??? Why do people have dirty up a thread? I don't have the energy to discuss this with you, and it wouldn't matter anyway. (and you don't know Dan didn't cheat, maybe he just didn't get caught?)
