I honestly believe he would. You've seen more of him than I have. He is perfect in Superbowls. The best ever. He definitely wouldn't have lost to Eli Manning and Nick Foles.

What are your thoughts on this (posted above):

The 3 Superbowls that Brady lost (2 to NY Giants and 1 to Philly), in all 3 Brady had the ball with the chance to drive down the field for the winning score. He did not. I can guarantee you that if Joe Montana was in that position, he would have brought his team down the field in all 3 of those games for the winning score. And Montana didn't throw an interception in all 4 of his Superbowls.

If you had to bet big money, would you say Montana would have driven down the field for the winning score in all 3 of those scenarios? I would say yes. Brady has the stats/longevity, but in a one game showdown winner takes all, Montana is my QB.

Also funny is how long it took him to make the HOF....simply because he wasn't licking the media's balls....speaking of HOF, why is Roger Craig and Ricky Watters not in the HOF, but Terrel Davis is? Another example of the "ole boys club".....

    I doubt it.
Joe had not one, but two legitmate #1 WR's and a great RB in their wins, Tom didn't have ANY #1's
in his wins in NE and 'adequate' RB's. Yes, he had Gronk, he won 3, not 6.
And you cannot say Joe 'definitely wouldn't have lost to Eli Manning and Nick Foles', because we don't know that.
I don't THINK he would have, but we don't REALLY know...

Second, all it takes is a sprained ankle or a concussion to put you out.
If the concussion rules of today would have been in place back then, he would have been taken
out of some games by the refs, and maybe SF loses a few games and doesn't even get to a couple of those?
(and yes, I know that doesn't matter today when discussing 'back then' - every 'dynasty' played with diff. rules)

If a couple of players get hurt in games, the game changes. Ask Brock Purdy.
Yes, I know the rules were different back then, but I believe in the law of averages and pretty soon they catch up to you.

Beyond that, all we can do is dream, guess and speculate as to 'what if) in the past, we will never know and it's useless to argue about it.

PS - I bet $20 on the Giants in the SB in 2008 - for no other reason than 'I had a feeling'.

I look at it different than you do, I don't think the players (whining) has changed much at all,
I think the MEDIA has totally changed, the absolute love for LeBron and a few others is sickening to me.

I have no idea why the HOF even has some people in it - Joe Namath threw more pics than he did TD's,
and as far as Roger Craig not being in goes, there is no doubt he's getting screwed, but I will let you in on a
little secret: I'm biased. Roger lived on my dorm floor, I walked to a couple of classes with him, and a few other things I
won't discuss here. I knew his brother Curtis, too, and Turner Gill, Jamie Williams, and a few other athletes down there....

    Edgerrin James? Thurman Thomas?
I can name off a few 'iffy' players that are in the HOF.

    I honestly don't know.
Which team(s) are you putting around Joe and Tom?

    Tom's 2007 team? The 2020 team?

You won't find me saying a single bad word about Joe, or Tom, or Bradshaw, I
cannot say one is 'better' than the other.

I agree with you about Namath. There are only two reasons why Broadway Joe is in the Hall. One is for signing the then-extravagant $400,000 contract with the Jets that effectively forced the merger of the NFL and AFL. The other is for Super Bowl III, for "guaranteeing" the victory and then backing it up.

I'm glad to see Zach Thomas finally make it into the Hall of Fame. Probably the gutsiest player ever to play for the Dolphins, and fitting successor to Nick Buoniconti, who was pretty gutsy himself (and is already in the Hall).

Any team. Look at what Montana did with the Chiefs. He beat Elway in Denver (and the Broncos were VERY good at that time), he beat Houston and Pitt in the playoffs (Houston was on an 11 or 12 game winning streak at that time), and "almost" beat the Bills.

Beyond crooked officiating. Shill to get Chiefs in then shill them to win with a phantom hold call. The NFL is a joke.

That was an awful call that ruined what shouldve been classic sb ending.

Someone needs to monitor that ref to see if his lifestyle goes up.

Is anyone really surprised at that ending? Mahomes is the new Tom Brady. When he is about to lose the game out comes a penalty flag

To be fair, he wasn't about to lose. They just would have left time on clock for Philly come back try. And late hit v cincy was legit.

Huge amount of time swung to zero on one officiating decision. Momentum favored Eagles virtually all game.

And Cinci wasn’t just late hit. It was a half dozen ridiculous calls to push KC along and prop up failing drives. 7 downs is beyond ridiculous.

the late hit was not the issue. Watch the entire game and especially the 4th quarter. Mahomes get a roughing the passer but Burrow does not? That’s just 1 instance

I'm not defending refs at all. They become worse every year in every sport. Dont know what to attribute it to either. But really ruining sports

Not unique to NFL. Officiating interfering in the outcome of games is pervasive now. But, the NFL is the juggernaut and there’s no way these things happen on their own and continue to do so without consequence unless there’s something nefarious going on. League playing favorites? Gambling? Whatever it is it stinks…

It can’t be more obvious, and the arrogance of the NFL is ramming it down our throats by saying “we can do this and you can’t do anything about it”

Funny how Goodell said a few days ago that the officiating hasn’t been any better. Why would he feel the need to say that if it was so good? Because really he was saying it hasn’t been worse
