    I have nothing but sympathy for rest of NFL. This is like going against Mj in 90s nba. Losing to them seems inevitable

    Yes that is a fair statement. But Marv Levy didn't lose with unusal/unfortunate circumstances the way Shanahan does (missed XP and the muffed punt that lead to a TD).

    1) Ernest Byner fumble in the playoff game as he was about to walk into the endzone for the winning TD
    2) While he was coaching the Chargers, the 4th down interception that would have ended the game - instead of the DB knocking the ball down on 4th down, or simply going down after the interception, he decided to try and run around, and then New England stripped the ball and recovered, giving them a new set of downs (playoff game San Diego vs New England, the year San Diego was 14-2 w/Rivers/Ladanian Tomlinson)

    Well, that's twice I've dodged a bullet now....

    A friend and I were going to drive down to the KC Victory parade, and I was
    planning ahead on where to go, and where I was planning was EXACTLY
    where the shooting was.
    I've been down there maybe 250 times over the last 40 years, so I know
    the area well, and was planning on parking in the garage area to the
    west of the Union Station - which is right where this happened.

    At about 8:30am my friend and I talked, and we decided not to go.

    I CCW but I doubt I would have been carrying, but I would have had
    a bunch of camera gear with me...
