You can say that about most of them. He can throw just fine. Quinn Ewers - now THERE is an overrated guy....
I didn't watch them all, the ones I did I thought he was fine. There have been countless guys drafted with cannon arms that never made it. And there have been countless guys with average arms that made it just fine in the NFL, but I digress...
The last play of that AZ / LA Rams game was nutty. Its one of the things I think that make the NFL popular. A horrible play call and throw -- a fantastic interception to save the game.
How can anyone possibly not believe the following: 1. Philly may blow through the play offs unscored upon while running up 50+ points per game. 2. Eagles greatest roster ever assembled in the history of the NFL. 3. Philly fans the most gentlemanly, well informed, and polite sports fans anywhere in the world. 4. Roger Goodell: "There is no one in any part of this organization that does not put the fans first."
How about Stroud and Mixon, huh? Houston teams never get any love. That's okay. We hate your sorry asses too.
Why not? Because he had a bad game and he only has one bonifide WR? Let me know who your favorite QB is and I will go dig up a bad game or two they had in the past. I don't know if I will pick Houston, but KC only beat them by 8 in KC a month ago and Houston played like ****, they had 2 turnovers and KC had none. I can already hear the pundits if KC loses to Houston: 'Oh waaaaah - KC hasn't played a game in 4 weeks, they were rusty' (or out of sync, or some other cooked up reason....) Houston is now without Tank Dell, who led them in receiving when they played a month ago. And I think Houston gets a couple guys back from injury that didn't play a month ago. Nobody expected TB to lose to Washington....
He doesn’t have the intensity or 24/7 passion seen by the top guys. Physically talented for sure. Of course they all have bad games, come on.
Horse puckey. LAC goes from 6-12 to 11-5 in one year and it's not good enough? You don't improve that much by playing without passion and intensity - and win without a legit #1 WR and #1 TE, Herbert carried that team, and he will get better. How much 'intensity' does Lamar Jackson have? How well has he done in the playoffs? Mahomes doesn't 'LOOK' like he has any 'intensity', either, how's he doing? NOW, if you want to talk about someone that looks like they lack 'intensity' or 'passion' we can discuss Trevor Lawrence, Kyler Murray, Jordan Love, Dak Prescott.... And the list of guys that LOOK the part and ACT the part - but can't play - is endless. Derek Carr, Daniel Jones, Geno Smith...
Hasn’t shown it. Talented for sure but needs to put it together. However he’s not one of the top guys yet.
YET. The only problem may be he isn't 'mobile' like Lamar, Jayden, Josh, Patrick, Jalen, CJ, and a few others. He's more of a 'statue' like Tua, Goff, Maye, Stafford... Gawd I hope not... Yes he is: Look at his deal HE gave Dak, and a very washed-up Zeke 5 years ago... Dak isn't worth HALF of what he got, anyone with football sense could see that. And the terms Dak got? Sweetest deal ever - next to DeShaun's. I'm halfway expecting Houston to win. Why? Because EVERY pundit alive thinks KC will win. That's a warning sign to me, when EVERYONE picks one team.
