Philly sports fans are born pessimists and usually our teams' performance warrants that gloom. But, given the sensational owner, terrific GM and a solid corps of young stars on the roster, I'm encouraged.

Now that a pail of cold Gatorade has been thrown on Mahomes, could Hurts be the next GOAT contender? :D

I was just having fun with my friend Keith already projecting a 3 peat before the Eagles have even done a 2 peat. (So said a deflated Pats fan :()

I would not bet against it - as long as the core nucleus stays there.

We said the same thing about Seattle in, what, 2012?
And THEN most of the stars' first contracts were up and they demanded to get paid.
You can't do that, in most cases.

And, all it takes is a major injury to you star player (usually your QB) and you are screwed...
Look at all the injuries to Detroit's Defense this past season...

    No.
He will need a couple more SB's and a few MVP's.
He CAN get there, but he's not in the discussion - yet.

Interesting analysis last week via decent insider: the increase in international games is not a precursor for moving or starting new teams outside the USA. It. Is meant to be a driver for packaged media deal for Netflix or Amazon to bid over and increase the revenue substantially vs broadcast that doesn’t penetrate foreign countries. Ie you are in x country and can’t watch CBS but you can stream Netflix.
Eventually, USA broadcast that has built the league won’t have the ability to pay for games and will be forced out. Since the nfl is really the only ratings hit, its game over.

Meanwhile where real men meet and negotiate like pros….Rams and Stafford have agreed to a deal keeping the valuable QB with the team for the 2025 season. So much for my Raiders hopes.

Everybody in the world knew the Rams were not going to let him walk.

The Rams 'are not paying anyone' and they have a helluva team, so if they are going to win,
it's going to be in the next 3 years, while all these guys are still under their first contracts.
After that, and guys become unaffordable, Stafford will be done.

Philly, Detroit, Buffalo, Rams - need to win NOW.

We saw ships sail in KC, SF and Miami.

We see GB and Houston moving up...

Each team gets 4 years to 'win', they all rotate.

Except for the Jets, Cowboys and Tennessee - they are toast.

Cinci HAD a chance, until they were too cheap to keep great players.

The Raidas are better than a lot of people think, they just need a decent RB, and a QB that isn't a turnover machine.

I PRAY they don't go after Aaron Rodgers, Shedeur's family is a liability, Riley Leonard may be Ok...
