I will have a team league this year again, on Yahoo, if anyone is interested let me know.
If there is no interest I will open it up to the entire free world....

Another thing I am going to try is a 'one and done' league:
Each week you pick players at the skill positions, but once you
use that player on your team, you cannot use them again for the rest of the season.
I will publish a spreadsheet every week so everyone can track it.

Yes, multiple teams CAN use the same player(s) in any given week, you just cannot
use the same player again going forward (ie - it is not a 'draft' league where one team locks
up a player for the season, or until they drop or trade them).
Points per position will be awarded based on Yahoo points.

If anyone is interested in that, let me know as well.

Might be just you and me.

It's odd - 3-4 years ago we had enough guys to fill two complete leagues,
and today, we can't get 3-4 guys...

I think the NFL has turned away a lot of fans in recent years due to politics, and poor officiating. I'll still play fantasy but I rarely watch any games anymore.

Yahoo free league drafting at 8pm CST tonight - IF I can figure out how to make the league Public so others can join.
If I don't get enough teams I will delete it.
It is a custom league, the roster is changed to: One RB, TWO Flex, and NINE bench players (not 6).

I used to give a dam about politics, but they were just cowering to some loudmouths, and while I don't
agree with that, the overwhelming majority of the players don't give a dam, they are good guys, they
deserve to make a living. The league DID lose a lot of respect from me when they basically censored
Drew Brees when he spoke out against the BLM by saying ALL lives matter (and no, this is fact, not P/R).

Some officiating sucks, it's like that in every sport, a team will get scrooed on one play, and the other team
will get scrooed later in the game, it all balances out.

I started two new leagues on NFL.COM
They are open to the public so anyone can join.

One is a standard draft league, the draft is Friday Sept 2 at 9pm CST, 'Continental League' #10763746

The other is a Salary Cap league, the draft for that one is Monday Sept 5 at 10pm CST, 'The Big Ten' #10671988

Both I have altered the rosters on both to have more bench players, and the Salary Cap one I increased the budget for each team.
I also changed the starting rosters from two RB's to just one RB, but I have added two Flex (RB, WR, TE) positions in both leagues.

Anyone here is welcome to join, but both leagues are out in the nfl.com league directory - anyone can join.

The growth in Fantasy football is pointed out by the magazine rack at Barnes & Noble: only 4 "regular" magazines about football, and no fewer than 11 on the Fantasy aspect. (I suspect that in two cases, though, the same magazine appeared twice on the rack because of 2 different covers.)

All of those magazines - as well as EVERY podcast or TV show about FF - are garbage, totally useless.

    Why, you ask?

Because all they talk about is who the best 4 or 5 QB's are, who the best 6-8 RB's are, who the best 8-10 WR's are.

    NEWS FLASH!
We already know Aaron Rogers is better that Drew Lock, that Johnathan Taylor is better than Antonio Gibson,
and that Cooper Kupp is better than Byron Pringle...
What we need is decent ideas on who to choose for RB2, WR2, WR3, and what TE to pick after you get past the top-5 TE's.

But all these talking head clowns want to argue about is Davante Adams vs. Justin Jefferson, Derrick Henry vs Nick Chubb,
Travis Kelce vs Mark Andrews, Aaron Rodgers vs. Patrick Mahomes. EVERY. SINGLE. SHOW.

If you play in a 12 team league, any player you pick after the 4th round is a crapshoot, THAT is where folks need help....
