Giants vs. Miami in London. Is it good for the NFL to go outside the US and play games? I like the idea, it seems unfair to the Giants and Fins. BTW I would not my Cowboys playing over seas, I think they're about 1-10 outside the US :(.
Apparently, they used to play 3-4 preseason games outside the US in the early nineties.

Remember the biggest NFL attendence was 114k at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City for the Dallas Cowboys.

    What made it awful?

Personally I don't like the idea of NFL overseas. Who's the home team? ;)

I think sports have really been going down hill since it's become all about the money for the players, coaches and owners....so who's more important now, the players who are superstars?? or the coaches who coach the superstars and teams to victories??

Now days they'll fire a coach if certain superstars don't like them before they'll keep a quality coach over a player who thinks they're worth it all.

I hate that we (taxpayers) pay all of this money for the stadiums, and they take games away from those taxpayers and the benefits of those games. Of course, our leaders don't have any guts to stand up.

That game was more exciting because of the wet conditions.

I agree about holding games overseas though. But it was cool that every team had a jersey worn by the "fans".

Game was atrocious, Eli was horrible as usual, Cleo Lemon was horrible, the field sucked, it was like a school yard muddy football game.

And to think, the NFL wants to play a Super Bowl (or at least open to it) in the city. If they ever did, I hope they have a dome.
