This week will be incredibly interesting. I don't see any clearcut favorites outside of the Buffalo/NYG game, even SF/Clv is not a sure thing, but the moronic QB in Clv is doing everything he can do guarantee a SF victory. To ME, Watson 'checked out', he has 240 million GUARANTEED, I think he is going to do stuff that will make Clv cut him, but he will still be PAID. Every other game can go either way. Remember: all we heard was how bad Chicago and Justin Fields was, we all picked Washington, and Chicago destroyed them. That's why the game tonight worries me, all we have read about is how bad Denver is... and as I have said, KC is not playing very well.
Yes.... not sure I see Eagles or the 49ers going undefeated all year to the Superbowl. Injuries will start biting teams a bit more.... fatigue in general.... enter the world of trap games. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Nobody is playing great right now, except for SF, but it won't last, we know that. KC is smoke and mirrors, as is Dallas. Without Mahomes, KC would be about as good as... AZ? MN? Clv? Wash? They have no serious threat at WR or RB, if Kelce goes down they have issues, but he's also been held in-check before, too. I don't understand BYE weeks - They can literally have HALF the teams on a Bye week say week 6, the other half on week 7, and again you could have half on week 12, and the other half on week 13, it is an 18 week schedule, so start a week earlier and make it 19 weeks (17 games).
Agree on KC...... I think the tight-end is the most underrated position in the NFL........ Kelce really has MADE Mahomes in the playoffs, just like Gronk MADE Brady....... that is the guy you need in clutch time when you just need to make 1st downs to win..... a big dependable stud that you know will catch it every time in the short yardage....... the long-bomb wide receivers are just a lower percentage play. And yea, the BYE week schedule is strange when teams are already off so early into the season??? Wouldn't you only want your week off as close to the end as possible, especially if you're in the playoffs?
It seems the WR's that would just go up and GET the ball are also disappearing, the Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, Larry Fitzgerald, AJ Green, Brandon Marshall types. I think the only one like that today may be AJ Brown, maybe Mike Williams...

WE should have known better. To be totally honest: I was going to pick CLV - until I saw Watson was not playing. It seems most every time a team blows out an equal team they lose the following week. We saw that with Detroit after KC, Miami after Den, and then Buffalo after Miami.... we shoulda known. ALSO, they say every team that SF beats ALSO loses their next game, so let's see if Dallas loses.
Jets - idiots. Intercept with 2 min left, and they DON'T run the clock down. They should not have snapped the ball until there was .01 left on the play clock Run a play, then run the clock down, Run a play, run the clock down. Kick a FG Or even, on 4th down, let the clock run down, take a 5 yard delay penalty, then kick a FG. With 1:46 left they could have run off 1:33, leaving Philly with :13 seconds.... UPDATE - Jets win, they got lucky there.
PS - 'they say' when teams come back from London they lose, that's why I picked Indy over Jax. Ooops. Another 'we shoulda known' thing is, 2 weeks ago ALL the sports talk radio guys were talking about Justin Fields sucks, then he comes out and lights up Washington IN Washington. This week all they talked about is how Purdy is the second coming of Brady, AND how Desmond Ridder has never lost at home in Atlanta..... we shoulda known...
