I don't think any player really ever intents to hurt another (with rare exceptions), but Rome definitely had Horton in his sights and didn't back off when the puck was gone. He made a bad decision and paid for it. Did he pay too harsly? Maybe.

On the other hand, Burrows is a chicken$h!t little b!tch and I am glad the Bruins have been making him pay for it. Biting other players is disgusting and beneath the sport. Burrows should have been suspended... I don't know any real fans who don't think that was a total puss move.

I agree, the biting is inexcusable and there is no place for it in any sport.

The NHL lost its balls on that one, saying the video was "inconclusive".

Can hardly wait for the next couple of games - As a "neutral" I'm hoping for 7.... And then I gotta be honest, a Canucks win - At least then "we" can say we lost to the champs - *Again*!

    Cheers,
    Ian

How do you guys see the game tonight?

I think it seems pretty evenly matched, but the Bruins are lucky to have it tied up right now. Could go either way, it seems.

It's going to get ugly if Boston squeaks this one out... Fo the Canucks play the Schneid, or come back with 10 million Luongo... Tough to say, Lou hasn't played badly tonight.

Will the Canucks win tonight, or will there be a Game 7?

I think Boston really deserves to win the cup. They have smacked Vancouver around like a redheaded stepchild at all the home games, and seem to be doing it again tonight. But in Vancouver, both teams are very very evenly matched. All the Vancouver games really could have gone either way - Boston just lost them by a hair, and not for lack of shots or trying.

We shall see - definitely looks like it's headed back to Vancouver for game 7.

I don't have much doubt that if it was 4 home games instead of 3, Boston would take it.

It all comes down to game 7.

That is a good assessment....and an accurate one....the Boston victories have been lopsided, but the Vancouver wins have been nailbiters.

You can throw out the "home-ice advantage" in Game 7 as anything can happen in a "one-win-takes-all" scenario.

Should be a good finish to a good series.

    I will predict Vancouver, 2-1.

The outcome all depends on which Bruins team shows up. If they can play like they have in Boston - being more physical than Vancouver and not letting up at all - then the Bruins win the cup. If they let the Canucks push them around, they will lose another close one.

I'm predicting the Bruins win 3-1.

Tomorrow will be a riot, Go Canucks Go.

Catching a glimpse of late night news:

100,000 people expected to be on downtown streets watching tomorrow's game.

Rogers Arena may release some tickets tomorrow priced at $1,900/each

There are some tickets going as high as $12,000/each.

Very cool! I was hoping for the same at the Tank :(

Holey-moley..... $1900 is directly from the ticket office? Wow!

I guess $12K is via scalpers? [I guess "legalized" scalping via the WWW?]

Cheers to a great game - No discussion of the zebras, no controversies, may the best team win.

    Game is just starting :)

Congrats to whomever wins, be it Boston or Vancouver. Both have had excellent seasons and both have played very well.

I think this has been the most exciting Stanley Cup series I can remember!

Can't believe it's the last game. The owner of the Bruins lives in the town next to me (outside of Buffalo!); our daughter goes to school with his granddaughters - great guy.
    Hope the Bruins win....

While I am typing this, the score is 2-0...the Sedins have pulled off a Lebron, they've disappeared and have done absolutely nothing even before that.

I am not sure what obsession is with these two losers, but this really shows what they are not made of; namely championship material.

I think Boston's defense has always been pretty good - Vancouver has never had the opportunity to get a lot of points, even in the games they won.

I think the difference is the B's offense. They haven't had many easy chances. There were a few bonehead moves by Luongo in earlier games, but Boston has always scrapped and clawed for the goals that decided games. Same here, IMO... they really had to work for those goals.

I think this game is not so much being lost by Vancouver as it is being won by hard work from Boston's offense.

    I am so proud :)

Boston deserved this one. I have been living in this city on and off for 25 years and we've never won the cup during that time.

    Congratulations, Bruins!!!!

Have to say the booing, chanting and tossing stuff on the ice FAR exceeds some jackass in a restaurant.

    One jackass vs. 15,000 jackasses.
