Canes 5-0 and still 22-1 Cup odds. I invested this week.
Vegas trades Tuck and Krebs for Jack Eichel. Eichel is getting the surgery he wants but won't play for maybe another FIVE months! Its not like Vegas needed more guys on the injured reserve list!
Is there anyone on here that goes to Minnesota Wild games in Minnesota? I may drive up to a game, I have questions...
Well this guy won't join the team for 5 months! Not sure how much "help" he will be this year. The VGK have most of their star players on the long term injury list. Stone. Pacioretty. Karlson. Whitecloud. Tuck (who they traded today) Honestly the best player on the team now is Robin Lehner, which is really surprising me. Nearly blanked Ottawa today on the road. Poor Fleury must wonder why he agreed to go to Chicago.
Aside from the salary hit, trading Krebs and Tuck aren't such a bad thing. Krebs has been a disappointment. He's been a yo-yo to the minor league team. The problem with the Knights is a lot of their key players are getting older. If they are going to win the cup, it has to be in the next 2 years. Otherwise they are in are in a rebuilding phase.
I disagree. I think Eichel is a winner if surrounded with proper talent and he can get healthy post surgery. If you’ve watched him develop, particularly early on, he’s got a hell of a stride and stick ability.
CRAZY game yesterday between Seattle visiting Arizona. The first 3 shots on goals were GOALS -- all in about a minute and a half. AZ replaces its Goalie in the first MINUTE of play after allowing 2 goals! Arizona wins its first game after scoring a few seconds after Seattle took the lead with just a minute left in the 3rd period. Both these teams play poorly so you have no idea what is going to happen. Kinda fun to watch.
The talk around Vegas is they will have 4 captains on the team when Eichel comes. Stone, Pachioretti, Petrangelo, and now Eichel. What is surprising to me is how well Robin Lehner is playing now that he plays almost every game. He's 100% better than last year when switching with Fleury every other game. I really feel sorry for Fleury in Chicago. What a mess.
Time will tell. But you missed my point. I didn't say anything about his ability, I said he isn't a winner - akin to Odell Beckham. Phenomenal talent but is a train wreck. Instead of preparing for a playoff game vs GB, he goes to Florida for a boat party.
Ovi ties Brett Hull 4th all time goals. Next up, the great Jaromir Jagr (who by the way without a doubt would have surpassed Gretzky had he not left the NHL for those 3 years)
Canes beat Bolts in OT. First "winning OT" goal disallowed for offsides after Toronto review. Second OT goal the real deal. Canes-Flyers Friday night. I'll be there. Flyers one goal last 22 power plays. Reggie Leach where have you gone?
How about Leon Draisaitl another 2 goals tonight for 17 on the season and 33 points in 15 games. Best start for a player since 1992. He is scoring at an unreal pace.
Crazy goal by Zegras of the Ducks but REALLY BAD defense from Buffalo for letting him all alone there for an eternity. No one even bothered to try to challenge him. Clever and creative goal though. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
Covid cancels Canes game w/ Wild. A bunch of players got infected in Calgary. Tomorrow's game in doubt
