Surprised noncomments about the John Tavares injury. Big news for us here. Leafs doing fine I think Jets are a top candidate to get out of the north. Warning this video is not easy to watch.
Their entire collapse is centered on one defensemen Ethan Bear, who turned the puck over 4 times and cost a goal against each time. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Everyone on the Vegas team is vaccinated. They've had false positives before after vaccination, including 6 one day before a key game with Minnesota during the regular season. The real trick is if Max Pacioretti returns or not. My guess is not. We are not the same team without Stone and Pacioretti on the same line. Pacioretti has been out for 3 weeks. Since then the offense has struggled.
A great start to round 2 in Boston last night! Not only did the Bruins win 5-2,with a hat trick by Pastrnak, but it was the first event in Boston with 100% capacity. The atmosphere was amazing! It felt more like the Finals than the opening game of the second round. Aside from the game, my daughter was excited to meet an interior designer she follows on Instagram, who also happens to be Brad Marchand’s wife. (Not too shabby!) But, one of my favorite moments had to be the entire arena booing an announcement reminding people to wear their masks. Some say they are the 2 best in the league. But anything can happen. I'm trying to get a ticket for game 4.
Why in earth is Fleury not playing??? Peter Deboer is an IDIOT. Sorry Vegas but you will never win with him as coach. You have the team, but your coach will screw it up.
I understand it. Actually Fleury was a little rough in the last 3 games. I was at game 5. 2 of the goals in the first period were questionable and we lost by 1. Putting in Lehner gives him a break after a tough 7 games. And the teams seems to respond for Lehner in these situations. Fleury seems to lose effectiveness when he gets tired. The 2 day turn around is part of this decision. Honestly I don't think it will make much difference but maybe Lehner will really respond to being on the bench for nearly 2 weeks. I figured Lehner would be in goal after the next Vegas loss. But this may actually work out. Who knows? I'm still not a Deboer fan but sometimes you just get a feeling... My biggest problem with Lehner later in the season is that he made some great saves -- but there was always one goal "he wish he had back". And that goal came at the worst time. You don't mind giving up a cheap goal when it doesn't matter. But in these cases, it did.
Don't worry Robin Lehner for Vegas is playing like he's made of thinly sliced Swiss Cheese. Image Unavailable, Please Login
