Not sure when you started watching hockey, but come playoff time the Leafs are always a paper tiger. I picked Montreal to defeat Toronto.
Agreed We outplayed the Habs in game 3. We lost The Habs outplayed us in game 4. We won. That's why you play the game. Its still anyone's series now. Vegas is really missing Stevenson. The Stone line is no where to be found, although Pacioretty set up the winning goal. The two best players on the Ice this series so far are Suzuki and Pietrangelo. DeBoer has a real problem now about who will play goal. My guess is he will go back to rotation and put Fleury back in on Tuesday. If he loses the series with Lehner in net the fans will skin him alive.
That's my guess. If Fleury loses Deboer will still be safe. If Lehner loses he'll be drawn and quartered.
Today the LV Police department had an all points bulletin to find the real Vegas Golden Knights. That was.... pitiful.
Cole Caufield...debuts in NHL in April 2021 and played 10 games. Comes into the post season and is making a HUGE impact.
And.... we done. But to be honest, I thought we would not get past Minnesota. The Habs played well. Their new kids are great. Price played well. We just couldn't get our top line going. We didn't lose from Fleury's mistake. We lost 2 games at home. You just can't do that an expect to win a series. So congrats to the Habs. I'll root for you over whoever you face.
The Habs are playing amazing not well. They were down 3 to 1 against Toronto. Won the series 4 to 3. They swept the jets. Now they took out the top pick for the Stanley cup. This team is clicking on all cylinders. Price is adding the octane boost.
Its OK. I was happy they beat the Avs because I thought we had no chance. I'm happy for the Habs fans.
The entire series all you heard was Suzuki and Pietrangelo on every key play. Well, the defensemen cannot be your leading scorer if you want to win. The Habs went undefeated until they hit Vegas. We flew into a buzzsaw. I enjoyed watching them the entire season. You can't always win the cup but you can enjoy those games for what they are.
Golden Opportunity: NHL Announces Las Vegas to Host 2022 All-Star Game Another marquee sporting event is heading to Las Vegas. On Monday, before the Tampa Bay Lightning hosted the Montreal Canadiens in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final, the NHL announced the 2022 All-Star Game would take place in Sin City. A packed T-Mobile Arena watched the Las Vegas Golden Knights play the Montreal Canadiens in a Stanley Cup Playoff game earlier this month. On Monday, NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman announced the city would host the league’s 2022 All-Star Game. (Image: NHL.com) It marks the first time the Vegas Golden Knights have hosted the event. Besides the game itself, T-Mobile Arena will host a weekend full of activities, including the NHL All-Star Skills Competition. Other activities and entertainment will take place leading up to the game. This is one of the league’s premier events of the year and we are thrilled to bring fans from around the world to Las Vegas to celebrate hockey,” Golden Knights President and COO Kerry Bubolz said in a statement. “This event will also help continue our growth of the game in Nevada and our surrounding areas.” The date for the All-Star Game was not announced Monday. Typically, the game takes place in late January. During a press conference with reporters Monday afternoon, Commissioner Gary Bettman said the league is still working out several scheduling issues for the 2021-22 season. That includes whether NHL players will play in next year’s Winter Olympics, which will take place in Beijing. The fact that the league went ahead and awarded Vegas the game may tip their hand a little bit. No NHL players played in the 2018 Olympics and the league held an All-Star Game. However, the league did not hold an All-Star Game in 2006, 2010, and 2014, years when NHL stars did play in the Winter Games. Story continues...non-NHL
I watched Fleury play every game this year. About 5 were in person. He was.. amazing. There are games that we should have lost but didn't because he was the only one playing well in the team. A well deserved trophy for a future Hall Of Famer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
McDavid with MVP - absolutely deserved. Probably my favorite player in the league and if you haven’t seen “Whatever it Takes” have a watch and you’ll see what I mean. Not convinced with Vezina pick considering games played and shots faced, but it’s late in his career and I understand why the GMs would give it to Fleury.
