Oh the jokes and memes are flying around right now about the Dallas teams. Mavs and Stars in the conference finals right now. Rangers won the World Series last year. Cowboys haven’t been to a conference final since 1995 and have been letting us down ever since. Its been a great year to be a Dallas sports fan

Another game 1 overtime loss for the stars. Not sure why these guys never show up for game 1. Also not sure why I keep torturing myself by going to game ones

At one point in the game they showed Trevon Diggs (cornerback for the Cowboys) on the big screen. I made the comment to my buddies that he was there to see what a conference final looks like:D

BEST time of the year! NHL playoff action every evening.
Gonna be a good game tonight Edm at Dal game two. @TheDuke will ya go, please?
Jamie Benn's a dirty player - wish someone would turn him inside out. Give him a BC two-hander.

Haha! I am not going tonight so now the Stars have a chance. They can never win a game 1 anyways but they looked terrible. Hopefully they show up tonight

^^^^^ That means Dallas wins this one.
45 minutes until I settle in with a couple ginger ales and spectate.
I was reading a bit ago about how Dallas drafted Wyatt Johnston. GM Jim Nill learned his craft here with the Red Wings. Shrewd draft choice!

Nice comeback win for Dallas. Edmonton goaltending in question, as I mentioned in a previous post. They were flying high at 2-0 and then seemed to shut it down. Dallas looks good.

3-0 Edmonton 5 min left in second. It will be a fun remainder.

It was not a fun remainder of that game:( I switched to college baseball halfway through the second period

Dallas has been severely outplayed the last 2 games. They need a big win in Edmonton to force a game 7

    President's Cup.
An NHL-record 34 comeback wins between the regular season and playoffs.
    But it's . . . . .

    RANGERS on the golf course!!!

While I've never had any great love for the Oilers - after all, they ended the Islanders dynasty of the early 1980s - I really would like to see a Canadian team hoist the Cup for a change. I think that hockey is still more important to most Canadians than to most Americans and they deserve to have another winner after a long absence.

I wish your prediction was right :(

Stars lost their steam. Tough to see them lose 3 in a row to lose the series. Stars are a young team so they’ll be back next year

Oilers/Panthers should be a good series. I guess I’ll be cheering for the West in this one

Go Oilers! McDavid as arguably the best player in the league needs a Stanley Cup win. They’re playing well and hopefully they’ll make it happen. That, plus I absolutely despise the Panthers!

If you guys hadn’t seen it the story of his knee injury (Whatever it Takes) is a must see. Once you watch that it’ll be easy to pull for him in the finals… just an incredible athlete and guy.

you can remove the term arguably and replace it with “without a doubt”.

He is the best player in the world right now, and I have Nathan McKinnon as # 2

McDavis was a quiet, humble kid in Junior and has remained that way after turning pro.

It's over.....there's no chance the Oilers win 4 straight.

Bobrovsky is clearly going to win the Conn Smythe for most valuable playoff perfomer.

For Edmonton's sake, I hope so....consider it a mercy kill if Florida closes out Saturday...end the torment, cause any extension of this series is only going to hurt more for Edmonton and their fans.

People say its because of "Bobrovsky" but IMO, the Oilers believed their own BS and didn't show up for each of the entire games. At times? Yes. 60 minutes? No. And FL has done a great job of stopping the Oiler PP which during the season was nothing short of awesome.

For sure they have gotten better goal tending but the Oilers haven't given it their all.

Take a look at the three teams the Panthers went through to get to the SC Finals. Says it all.

I'll be tuned in 8pm est tomorrow evening. AFTER the start of 24 Hours at a certain race venue in Europe.

Tough row to hoe for Edm Oilers.

Whatever the score, happy Father's Day to you, Gentlemen.
It has been a fun NHL season being a true hockey fan.
