Seems like a lot of interior wear. So, then, who knows how well taken care of the rest will be?

I live in Lower Queen Anne and the car is at a shop close to my place so I asked the guy selling it. I have no affiliation or relation to the car or the dealer. When he said $72,500, I thought that sounded like a good price for a 355. It's a pretty nice car, but I'm looking for a black 308 GTB at about half the price.

If you look at the pictures of the clutch housing and the engine details; it seems this car has lead a hard life on salted roads.

Remember talking to the seller three/four months ago about this car. Very nice guy. Told me reserve was $80K at the time. At the time the eBay auction didn't have a VIN number -- guy said he couldn't get eBay to accept it. That point, plus the clear front markers suggested to me that the car might be a Euro model. I see the car's got a VIN now on the eBay ad, but this may be something to diligence. This is an attractive price assuming the car is a US car, given that the 30K servicing has been done just a couple of hundred miles ago. Need to diligence who did it, though.

Interesting thing is that he said he was going to sell the car to a 'local movie producer' who indicated he wanted something to 'toss around for the weekends.' Guess that deal 'fell through.' Funny how they always do. ;)

I have seen loads that are absolutely perfect. If people spend the money, there is no reason why it shouldn't. Mine is in pretty much perfect condition (7 yrs old, 24K miles). I agree with the sentiment that if the interior has not had the money spent, the rest of the car has probably been lacking in attention..

Actually, I did sell this car on Ebay a couple of months ago. The client has since purchased a 360 and has this one back in my store on consignment, with a much lower reserve than last time we sold it.
The15 and 30k are complete and documented, it is not a Euro model, and the car's interior has nothing more than the usual rubbing on the driver's side. I've since reconditioned the seat and it looks great.

Good to know. I guess it's fun being rich! 355 one day. 360 the next. Who cares how much you lose in the process.

    Yeah right...
I guess you can say you have officially arrived when an F355 is considered your "interim" car.

So the previous auction stated 26k miles, some guy bought it on 2/16, now he is selling back to you 2 months later, and it is still 26k miles?
