nice article but i don't speaka the arabic. they got the weight/power wrong at 1180kg and the torque 640nm.......i wish. still prefer the suede over leather for the CS and the dude at the wheel must of seen my photos in the aussie section of the dash read out at 308kmh and thought he would have a go. confused over the plaque that says '1st 360 challenge stradale'??? must be an after market touch by the current owner rock on
That article and car are from Bangkok, Thailand. I had a look at the car before it was sold 2nd handed. It was the 1st CS for Thai market. And I think it's the only black CS (and probably 360 of all sort) in Thailand. Too bad I didn't get it (got the red on with alcantare instead), this is by far the best looking CS I have seen. That web site is very informative and fun (if you can read Thai), plus they test quite a few exotica in Thailand.
I'd love to own it, but I'd still miss the stripe. I think it looks best on the black and red ones: (Thanks Rob) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nope - because it's not a 360 Challenge Stradale and never has been. It is a Challenge Stradale. The silver plate is an option on all new F cars and you can have whatever you want written on it - normally, it is the owners signature.
i prefer Stradales with leather and without the stripe. just my opinion but the stripe looks like a novelty thing. if you tire of it, your stuck with it. in saying that, i know i am in the minority, as it is hard to find a non-stripe, leather Stradale for sale.
I like the stripe, but I don't care leather or suede, just look at that beautiful carbon fiber on the back toward the bottom of the page. Mmmm... Carbon Fiber. I will say that the leather looks wonderful, but it detracts from the race car interior. If you need a comfortable and nice interior, get an F430, 360 CS's are not "comfortable and nice".
Same seats that come optional in the normal 360s but some of the CS's have suede. don't see how that makes them uncomfortable The no carpet and lack of sound deadening maybe.
The CS seats are better, I've had passengers comment on that. The noise and stiff suspension are what people consider uncomfortable.
I had racing style sport seats in my 360 and I can attest that the CS seats are slightly more cushy. Many others have made the same observation.
Actually, no... the CS seats are different than the 360 racing seats. But, the CS seats are actually MORE comfortable than the 360 racing seats. FWIW.
