Interesting that a 550 virgin but experimented driver/reviewer has noticed the contradiction between the engine optimised for low and mid range torque whilst the gearbox loves shifting at higher rpm under full load, a mismatch that makes the car a little annoying at urban pace and makes it feel strangled when pushing it through its paces out onto wild open spaces. We are very fortunate to have people like Fabio Fiammenghi and John Cribb whose products allow for balancing out the factory restrictions and allow the car to come into its own, getting rid of the appalling stock soundtrack in the process.
Nice video, I didn't realize we had a local car youtuber, don't really think of the Boston area for that.. but great to see places I recognize from a familiar cockpit
