From Gary Anderson at the BBC. Good read. I like his analysis. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/19699487
Yes pretty much as we know, make or break for Ham in Suzuka. Ham has had some real body blows in his title chase, lady luck has just flown out of the window for him. Fred has had lady luck on his side for sure, but he has worked hard for it, and like him or not you can only admire his resolve for getting the job done, and getting his car consistently in the points. Vet and Kimi have a good chance also but Vet more so, however if Ferrari can give Alonso that extra bit of speed with some good working up grades, I see the odds on him winning it this year as very good.
Im sure LH and Vettel will pressure him no doubt. It should be a great finish for the title this year!
The 29 points margin is misleading - the car performance is more telling. Alonso is very likely to lose the championship if the car is not a front runner from now. If Vettel can finish the next few races, he could easily take 7-10 points away from Alonso, catching him comfortably. It has been nice to see the up and down fortunes for Vett and Hamilton but the probabilities of this trend continuing are low. Ferrari needs to buck up,
Funny how everyone thinks the Red Bull is so fast after winning the Singapore. I think the F2012 can hold its own against it and Vettel is more likely to crack under pressure than Alonso.
