Exterior black looks very elegant, but hides a lot of the subtle details. Interior black, with red contrasting stitching, was spectacular - very nice combination. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The car looks great well...because it looks great....but I think black really does hide a lof of the pretty curves on this car. I like the red one in NYC a lot better.
I feel like the darker colors totally change the rear end of the car. Seems a lot flatter in the rear in black. Not complaining either way. The F12 is the current stunner of the Ferrari lineup.
Done exactly the way I like it. With the exception of Daytona seats which I would prefer with Diamond stitch or sport seats. Very understated and almost discreet while menacing at the same time.
I think standard seats look pretty good in this one. Like standard more than daytonas in 458 too. As for Cali, n previous models, vice versa.
Yah, I agree with the standard seats. But Daytona's do look good too. It's a toss up. I'm still leaning to a dark red with Cuoio interior.
In black the car looks more classic Ferrari as the sculpture and creases become more subdued. The basic form of a traditional Ferrari front engined V12 is then emphasized. I quite like it and would recommend darker colors for those who crave a more retro look or who may want to tone down the elaborate look somewhat.
I have seen a few black F12s in and around Monaco and I don't think it suits the car. Hides the lines too much. Black worked for the 599, but the F12 need lighter colors IMO. Classic silver is by far the best F12 color I have seen. Just MVHO of course as it's a subjective matter of taste.
It looks absolutely stunning. The car is truly a work of art, I think the Daytonas work but the Sports Seats look terrific as well.
Looks great, but I am sure it looks much better in person as black doesn't always show well in photos.
Spot on assessment. Photographs cannot seem to capture the depth and organic dynamics of black on a car, just as a photo can't come close to capturing the majesty of the most spectacular sunset you may attempt to snapshot. The gorgeous curves of a black F12 may hide in even the most professionally staged photographs, but these same curves become breathtaking when viewed in person, and that's when it really matters.
I saw it at the show, quite impressive, very aggressive looking front. I was surprised they left out the 458 at the auto show, they had the California, FF, and F12 only. Perhaps needing more sales on these models?
