Looks like the ex Shah of Iran/Nicolas Cage Miura. I was in fact at the auction in Geneva in 1997 when Nic bought it. Several Lambos there + the Raptor. I was after an Espada from his released collection.
This is not the Nick Cage car. That car had a white interior which I think looks even better with Rosso Granada.
This car was restored by Gary Bobileff , Bobileff Motorcar Company in San Diego. This one of 6 original Jota cars, With factory documentation stating that it was a purpose built Jota when new! chassis # 4892. Gary Bobileff
A piece of art! More nice pics here... http://www.joesackey.com/Galleria/Miura%20SV%20Jota%20(4892)/ Cheers, Bjoern
Sorry only as an information but this car is beautifoul but are not build new in SVJ. The first owner is Doctor in Roma buy the car in 1971 color white and are rebuild in SVJ in 1974. However is nice car
Speaking about SVJ, please have a look at this unique website hold by a one of kind SVJ owner : Mr. Fabrice Auxiètre in Paris : http://www.miura-svj.com/?lang=en if someone still have a doubt about SVJ production and factory legitmity... this website is clear, comprehensive and undeniable !
Sorry don't see the point. Uglier than an SV and no racing history anyway. Just looking at it you can pretty much tell it's not going to hold together. Where is the cold airbox for the engine for a start? Yes Wallace made a real one, but that was never raced too ... what a pity. Oh well just my opinion. Pete
Description appears correct on the original site, in French : "base de miura S transformée en Spyder par une société Suisse." ; looks like a translation mistake...
Well hopefully nobody has enough bad taste to ruin a S or SV today and make another SVJ. Wonderfully elegant cars as they are . Pete
I wonder why Bobileff MC didn't restore the car fully the way it was in the 70's. By the way, a person who imported #4892 into Japan sometimes blogs about the car. http://ajp.cocolog-nifty.com/tommyzz/2008/01/post_a443.html http://ajp.cocolog-nifty.com/tommyzz/2007/12/ii_85ca.html Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe it is. Last time I saw it for was in Monterey at the Russo & Steele Auction. It was a no sale as I recall. Image Unavailable, Please Login
That is Biz 0256 very original only three owners, and you really shouldn't take pictures of Lamborghini's with a Bizzarrini in the background because no one will see the Lambo Image Unavailable, Please Login
