Check out this video. Some pretty shots & sequences. I think it's a promo for "16R". http://www.users.uswest.net/~choice220721678/Aerial_Movie.htm
I often sit and think about doing a split S in the Stearman and drop through the cotton puffs or chase the edge of a cumulus and trying to dog fight with the buzzards in a Cub. That was 60+ years ago. Maybe I never even did it. Where can one purchase that DVD ? Switches
You can purchase the DVD from Sportys.com. I got all my training videos and books from there which really put me ahead of the game.
Sorry about that but let me tell you once you watch this DVD you will have more motivation than you ever thought you had. I must tell you the scenes will leave you breathless and it is a tear jerker to watch some of the deleted scenes. Not to get off subject but have any of you ordered the PPL video from Sportys? They come in 6 segments from beginning all the way to the FAA Exam. I have only 5 hours here in the Netherlands and I have done take off, landings, S turns, 360, slow flight, and almost stalls. I have cross winds, rain and overcast as well every flight. Here they do not cancel your flights because as I said on another thread we have this type of weather everyday almost. My instructor said with 5 hours I am better than others who have 15 or more hours. He is so confident that we are going to do a short flight into Germany.
I want this movie... someone want to buy it for me? American Flyers has all of my money, and they won't give it back. Incredible footage... that DC-3 landing is an amazing perspective... --Plasticpi
That DC-3 in the landing sequence is Clay Lacey's and would be willing to bet that the footage was taken by one of his outfits. He has a Lear jet equipped with a 360 deg camera that is used in a lot of flying commercials. Good stuff. Switches
