I have had difficulty getting my 6.0 to talk to the NY State emissions testing computer as part of the state inspection process- in the past, a wand was placed in the tailpipe to read emissions. Now, the test reads whether the sensors are operative, by plugging into the OBDII. Apparently, given the way the Lambo 'brain' is programmed, I think that the sensors reset once the car is shut off. The NY State test requires that after the car is run on the NY State computer that the car be shut off for an interval before the emissions test sequence begins. I have been futzing around with a very scrupulous, and patient local service station, and tried all kinds of sequences, including running the car after the shut off sequence. No dice.
So, after a couple calls to the DMV, I called Lambo Tech in Boston. They knew exactly what the problem was, said they would get to the bottom of it immediately, and call me back within a day's time. If they live up to their promise, this will earn them serious points with me. Yeah, I know, a manfacturer should stand up for its product.
But, the car is a 2001, I'm not the original owner, and they could give me the run-around on something as stupid as this- So, assuming they sort this out for me (it may involve a simple black box replacment, or a waiver, I dunno), I say that the rep earned for ****ty support may now be unwarranted. In any case, we always *****, so here's a positive comment. I'll keep you-all apprised.

It's been a couple of days so how did you make out? I hope they sorted it for you.
