hey fellows,,i just got off the phone with NICKS FORZA..concerning his xdi ignition system for the 328 as well as a test pipe replacement for the cat converter...he says this is the best option to go with for the 328 outside of his full fuel injection replacement system,,(apx $5k),,,he said he has had HP increases of up to 18 with the xdi,,,(apx 2k out the door shipped test pipe inc)..i wanted to know if any of you 328 owners have had this set-up or upgrade installed in your cars,,,and what kind of improvements you experienced and whether or not you thought it was worth it,,,your inputs are greatly appreciated,,,,thx brett....1989 328gts 86k miles....

I bought the TEC GT, but I will tell you what a difference in the way the car would start, it would just "explode" to life. The car drove much better since installing it. I have the HYPERFLOW test pipe. Do it! I have an 89 as well with 26K miles.

I found the XDI system on Nick's site, but can't find the TEC GT info. Where to look?

Norwood Performance replaced the old distributor system on my 330 2+2 with an electronic sytem and the results were like night and day..."exploding to life" after one key turn describes it well.

Now I'm thinking aboput something similar for the 308.

"he said he has had HP increases of up to 18 "

Assuming your current oem ignition is operating properly, be sure to do a dyno test before and after installing the XDI (on the same dyno) to see what the actual difference is; it will be interesting to see the results. ;)
