Met Nick at the Concorso, I'm thinking about sending the 308QV for the full treatment. (engine, suspension, brakes) I know there was a thread a year ago about his 4.0/3.5 conversions.

Any one have recent experience with him? I know, I'll never get my money out of it, but thats only if I sell, and I've had the thing since 85...Mark

I actually hate it when people tell me this, only because I usually already have, BUT... do a search, there's tons of stuff about Nick on various topics. Has a great reputation, as far as I have seen on the site.

That's because only Nick has, at least as far as far as I know. The prototype is just now running and has not had the final tuning done. It looks good, the first dyno numbers are good, and there is no reason to believe it won't run well. I don't think the 1st 4.1 liter has run yet, retro fitting 4v head for more flow was the last post. I guess Nick found a more afordable and available crack to make 3.9 instead of the 4.1....not that it should really matter since the heads seem to be the hp hold-up anyway.

    Good luck!

First, color me jealous! Man, wish i had the long green for that. As for Nick, he has a great reputation and have personally purchased quite a few things from him over the years and all has worked as expected.

He even answered his phone this morning (Sunday) to help me and is very patience and understanding. Am tweaking the car today and had a small question.

Did i mention i am VERY JEALOUS you are about to covert the car. That extra HP/TQ will do wonders for lap times.

I bought an electromotive ignition system from Nick and this guy has treated me superbly. He returns calls promptly, seems happy to offer assistance, seems to take a genuine interest in your project. In short, in my view, he's top shelf. I only wish he was closer so that I could have him service my car from time to time.
