Definitely one damn nice setup and 35yrs ago I was all over that hobby.

For those into the hobby is it really possible for only 2 guys to put something as massive as this together in only 9 years? Just seems like you'd need at least 10 people working 'round the clock - I recall the vid of the guy who made a 1:8 scale working replica of a Ferrari and it took him 3 years to just draw up the plans, and several more to build individual parts and finally assemble everything.

 

Yeah, if they didn't work and only built train stuff all day. It also depends on how much customization they did to the pieces, buildings and such. I could design a layout that big and put track on it in a month or 2. It's the buildings/etc that can take forever.

 

How do you dust all that and keep it clean?

And where is the F1 track?
