Nitto sizes differ from michelin tires !! i was shocked

Hello all;

I went yesterday to change my tires (Nitto) and i was shocked!! the size given on the Nitto's differ from all other tires brands. I have installed 235/35/19F & 345/25/20R along with my HREs, and did not trust them somehow, i dont know why! anyhow it was so hard to find 345 on Michelin or pirelli so i decided to go for 335/30/20 and it was huge comparing to the 345/25/20, and i mean wider by an inch or so .. very noticable.


the tyres specialist got shocked and didnt know what to do. I hold it because i really dont know what to install. any ideas what is the real size of Nitto 345/25/20 equal to others is it 305/25/20 or others am without clue plzzzzzzzz help
