Only experience I've had with Nitto was on my '91 Corvette a few years back.A friend gave them to me free because he didn't like them, and I quickly saw why.I think I kept them for about a week, then in the dumpster they went and I replaced them with Goodyears.

Tried them a few years ago on a Jetta and they were garbage.

Have a pair of Nitto Terra Grapplers on my truck.
They LOOK good, but I will not buy them again.

As for the colored tires, they are only good for creating colored smoke when your drifting, doing donuts or just spinning them w/your foot on the brake.

If your doing any of the above w/an F-car, then you MUST have $ to burn!

I had Nitto drag radials on my mustang and they were pretty good. They hooked pretty well and the tread was nice and deep so they channelled water well too. The compound was too soft for cold weather though, you actually had to put heat in them or they just spun. I had a set on BFG drag radials before and almost killed myself several times in the rain.

Check out the NT-01's, those are the only Nittos I would buy. Great track tires, but don't last long at all and if you plan on driving in the rain forget it. Other than that, I say go with Michelin.

It was BFG that made colored tires, not Nitto Tire.

The Invos are an excellent tire that grips but is very quiet and their Terra Grapplers were rated #1 by Consumer reports. The NT01s were used to set several track records by the Crevier BMW team (in their class).
