I was working on my Euro 308 last night with my 16 year old son and showed him the smaller Euro mirrors and told him that if he ever saw some available to let me know because I don't know where I've ever seen Euro ones (with the Ferrari shield on them) available.

Well Matt, how about today and here?

(IF you don't care about the price, that is...apparently, some do care, as these have been for sale for quite sometime, but no takers: at 2,900 euros / about 3,000 U$, that will burn quite a hole in your pockets)

That was one of the main selling/buying aspect when I bought my 328. I have always liked the euro mirrors.

Those mirrors are what I've been looking for.....yeah except the price point. The only thing really wrong with mine is the motors don't really work. I can hear them trying, and they do make some movement but not exactly what I'm telling it to do. The mirrors are pretty ornamental really anyway. If I found brand new ones for way way less than the ones on eBay, I'd buy and install them. Those do look newer than mine, too, but never ever for that kinda $$$$....I've paid less than that for really decent (pedestrian) cars before.

Ask yourself (as I did): do functioning mirror motors really matter, if I never adjust them again - once they are "set"?

And a left one here for 880 euros; might have been repainted (??) as it looks very shiny and very black to me; on both my 328s, they are matt and rather very dark gray (anthracit) than black.

Matt, if you’re only looking to change the electric motor, the BMW E34 series used the same one. The little emblems can be bought at Black Bart’s Emporium. Older Lambos also used the same exact mirror 36754/53 which is still stupid expensive but less than advertised for Ferrari.

If I had a ****load of money, I would manufacture some 308 components, frick’n Vitaloni, euro style mirrors and QV 17” wheels!
