Reminds me of a Lambo I saw in police impound at one point, said it would do 190mph drug runs from Miami to NYC ever week. Driver wore night-vision goggles and kept all the lights off, all the windows were limo tint and the car was done up the exact same way.
Thats awesome! Like a jet fighter or something. Would be crazy to be cruising down I-5 and hear it roar past you but not see anything....
Wouldn't it be easier to charter a jet or just buy a Cessna??? Are you sure you saw that Lambo? Are you sure it wasn't...nothing? http://www.snopes.com/autos/law/stealth.asp
Well, I did see a blacked out Lambo in an impound lot, that's what I was told when I asked an officer about it (at a bar). Maybe I'm just gullible. Damn
Just because its all black doesn't mean the intention was for it to be stealth. If not for the radar the guy would probably still be doing those runs.
I like the CLS class. They did a nice job with this one. Not like the Shark version they did with that big PT cruiser looking front end.
Does anyone know what kind of paint is on that CLS? It looks like they didn't put a clear coat on it so it wouldn't reflect much light.
Dunno but it belongs to the owner of DC Shoes. For some reason I've been getting Makes and Models magazine sent to me, and there was an article about this car in it a few months ago. -R
I know the guys who built the beast and I must tell you in person it is very, very sharp. The neat thing about the builders is that they are not of the "hey lets slap a kit on car variety". Talented guys who also have some pretty sharp projects on the table.
Yep, just did a google search. http://www.motorauthority.com/cars/mercedes-benz/ai-design%E2%80%99s-custom-mercedes-cls55-amg/#gallery/mercedes/tuners/aidesign/cls55/dc_cls7.JPG
It's called black satin. It is between a low gloss and a flat. Very big in hot rodding right now. Darrell.
Yes, it's Ken Block's car and he is no longer is an owner of DC Shoes. Love the car, love the DC brand and, yes, I wear the shoes.
The calipers are red, the rivets on the wheels are silver, the rear lenses are only lightly smoked and the front lenses aren't smoked at all. With that said, I still think it's absolutely beautiful. I would love to see it in person. Any idea what the interior looks like...?
