I'm currently working on a 82 308 GTSi thats not running on cyl.# 2 or cyl. #5. I removed some fuel lines (to the injectors) and found that there wasn't any fuel flowing to those two injectors. It seems there is a blockage in the fuel distributor, or maybe a flapper valve is stuck closed ??? any advice on this situation would be greatly appreciated. Has any one else ever heard of this situation before ? Thanks,

    Mike

The lines themselves are clear? Also...make sure the system is pressurized before you test the line at the injector.

yes, the lines were clear and the system was pressurized. we found the blockage in the Fuel Distributor itself. in the tiny filters that sit just before the lines. however, the car still doesn't run right and we are wondering if the injectors suffered damage during our test runs when they were not receiving fuel. we'll change them again, as we had earlier as we traced the problem back.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to change out all of the injectors if they are the original steel. I did it for about $150.00 and it made all of the difference. The 2V cars need all the help they can get ;) The more I drive her the happier she is!
