    Howdy F chatters,

Fan and lurker for a long time. I've been doing my homework on the 360 for several years and it has been on my wish list for quite a while. Time has only re-affirmed my desire for one. It wasn't my very next planned purchase, but the car I was eyeing as my next purchase just sold. In spite, I'm thinking of saying F it and seriously look into the 360 purchase.

I'm aware that as collector cars get expensive, the sale and trade sometimes becomes less public and more member-to-member. Because I'm looking for something very particular, I'm trying to get input from those in the know...perhaps I'm missing a forum or list that I should be keeping on my radar or maybe I just need to mingle with the local Ferrari owners to put feelers out there? I'm seeking your recommendation. Where else do I look?

My interest is not to buy low mileage garage queen. I'm looking for a 50-60k mile+, well-driven (and maintained) car. Yet, all I see for sale in the classifieds and mainstream vendors are low mileage examples. Beautiful machines, no doubt about it...but just not what I'm looking for. I want to do with the 360 what I do with the car below...buy it, care for and maintain it myself...and drive and enjoy it constantly. This guy has 112k miles on it and many more smiles per hour to go :). 1994 850CSi, 1 of 25 in North America in that color combo. A magnificent german machine, but I think I'm ready to go italian.

Thanks in advance for any input.

That guy was just posting here the other day boasting about his mileage, now he's selling? Seems odd.....

Be a little more specific. Color? Spider or Modena? F1 or stick? Shields? Most of the rest can be adjusted if you would like it different. Think stuff like brake caliper color, seats, wheels, grills, exhaust, etc. And anticipated price range would be helpful. If you are looking under $60 you will be making compromises.

There are a lot of cars and some that may be lurking. I know of several with a lot of miles (not all for sale) and many in the 30-50K range.

Post in the Wanted section. I know I got a number of gated 360 offers from owners when I was looking.

You are looking to do the same thing I am doing. Look on autotrader, cargurus, etc. There are quite a few decent examples out there. All you have to do is look. Just make sure you are ready to do some immediate repairs, even the $90k examples are not safe from having a few things turn up in a PPI that should not be put off. My car came to me complete with multiple leaks, bad ball joints, several lights out, etc.

Only went for $46k...which makes me very sad on many levels.
