No more sound from the stereo

    I have a factory stereo in my 355 and it was working fine the other day. Yesterday, I pulled back some of the carpet in the front luggage compartment to check the front shocks. When I got into my car tonight there was no sound from the stereo. When I turn on the radio or try to play a CD all I get is a loud whine/buzz from the front driver's speaker. Nothing fron the passanger's side speakers. When I turn the stereo off, the noise goes away. Is there any chance that I may have somehow blown my amp? Any other ideas? Thanks much, Judd

    I don't think there is a factory amp. My car doesn't have one..Check all connections on the rear of the radio and the CD changer.

    I can't believe that this post has been here this long and no one has said something like - "It's a Ferrari, damn it! The stereo is the mufflers!! Turn it up to 8500!!"

    Being a shouter in a rock band, I'd want a proper stereo in mine (if I had one), but would have to hide it whenever I was around tifosi...
