ferraridriver, thanks for pointing this out! i have been a big proponent of the no spoiler rule, because it's just not necessary to use a spoiler title, and given the inane thread titles that are oh-so-common anyway (i'm surprised half the threads in the F1 section aren't just titled "F1" and the other half "Max") it's just not that big a deal. Yes, real titles are better but in the grand scope of things it is very selfish and rude to insist that you should be able to us spoiler titles at the expense of everyone else. but with the new collapsible groups i think fchat is now better served to have real titles and folks that don't want spoilers can avoid the racing section. if you really really must enter one of the other (non-F1) racing forums you can bookmark it directly and still don't have to see the F1 titles on the home page. hey mr judgemental, the groups are a brand new thing that didn't exist before. none of the no spoiler proponents are asking for extraordinary treatment and 99% of us are presenting a logical argument, not "complaining".
As of this writing, there have been 2,756,401 Searches, the majority of which are for recent posts. No matter what, Recent posts from any subforum will display on Recent Posts or Todays Posts Searches. Only the Bedwetters want a hack so only 1 section - Race & Sports - or any subforum therein - does not show up on Recent Posts or Todays Posts Searches. All the Bedwetters have to do is hold it.
Enough. The Spoiler Rule is in place until Rob says otherwise and he makes the modifications necessary to keep everyone happy. This thread is going nowhere. Closed.
