When I start my 456 for about the first 10 to 15 min I can hit the gas and it feels like the clutch is slipping but it is a GTA! Any how in about 15 min of driving the car it feels like al the power is back? What and why does this happen???? Help!

There could be a load of reasons none of which I'm sure of but how about starting the engine before it says ok so the relearn/checks on start-up haven't completed

From what you say, if the engine is ok, but the power does not seem to get to the wheels, I would start by checking the oil level in the transmission.
If instead the engine seems to be the culprit, then I would start checking and / or replacing the spark plugs.

Torque coverter not locking up until the gearbox is warmed up. Normal. Definitely check the fluids though. Unfortunately the dipstick is under the trunk floor which has about 50 screws holding it in place.

I am having the same sort of problem with my 1995 456GT 6-speed.

We finally traced it to some wiring behind the engine, where it
is very hard for the normal hand to fit.

Car runs on 6 cylinders, and when we "shake" the wire bundle,
the car runs on 12 cylinders. Later, it goes back on 6 cylinders.

Can't quite find the EXACT wire.

    Gotta love Ferrari electrics...........
