I wonder how high it'll go.. Seems to be a slight issue with the mileage records, but otherwise it seems like a nice TR... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RARE-Euro-1985-Ferrari-Testarossa-Immaculate-No-Reserve_W0QQitemZ4587916726QQcategoryZ6212QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
My bet is it will end at around $53k. I suspect some shill bidding to get it that high. It does look really nice though. I am surprised it is already at $40k with 5 days to go. BT
Yes it is indeed a nice car....I actually like the Euro cars a lot. The pic showing the passenger's side of the center console shows some buggered up spots, maybe from a crappy phone install or something. Nothing peeves me more than putting holes in body panels, interior peices, etc. Why do people do things like that.....?
Like put those useless RH mirrors on these cars ? Kills the look and the potential resale value. Also bogus job on the protruding side marker lights as opposed to installing recessed lights IMO. These early Tr's because of low production numbers at the time are without many of the anomalies the higher production number Tr's are known for. At least that's been my experience based on the history and ownership of my car which was assembled when this one was.
looks like the seller didn't get enough for the car, so he cancelled the auction... I could be wrong, but I'd bet that is the reason he ended the auction early even though it says that it was cancelled because the car is not available anymore...
