Later in the listing it says - 'The asking price is US $969,969.95, only serious enquiries will be entertained'

true, but the auction is a no reserve, so technically the owner would be bound to sell the car at the final price if the auction ran it's course. if they didn't own the car, they would be on the hook for fraud to the tune of roughly $1 million. if they do own the car, it would be a legally binding contract.

In the UK sellers of cars reserve the right to withdraw the car from the Ebat auction at anytime - and I am pretty sure that in the UK it is not a legally binding contract when you sell & bid on Ebay.

Guess it must be very different in the USA.

no reserve you don't have to pay a % fee (correct me if I am wrong), plus if the price is not met, the bidder makes a fake name, bids on his own auction and doesn't have to sell if price is not met.......

essentially a winning bid on ebay is a legally binding contract. Can the seller close the auction at any time? Yes. but if the auction ran it's course, and the high bidder was $10,000, the seller would technically be required to sell said item at that price. Now, I'm not an idiot, this auction, if "Real" will probably end somewhere in the vacinity of $1 million, or it's totally bogus. But, if it's legit, then someone is selling a Ferrari Enzo for no reserve on ebay......that's freaking sweet! Chances of legit sale..... 0.1%

    I mean , come on!

Look at the auction a little closer, can you not see errors in the text?

This guy has no clue what this car is, he just snapped some pictures in a parking lot somewhere and wants to see who he can con out of some money.

"80% red, 15% Yellow and 5% Black" I could have sworn that I've seen other colors, maybe I am just color blind.

"1 more for unknown reasons" Hello... presented to the Pope, donanted to charity...sold at Chrisiti's....

Maybe I am on high scam alert, but this looks fishy.

    Just my .02 cents.

The VIN does NOT check out... ZFFCW56A430134279 is a red Enzo with a RED interior... This auction is selling a red Enzo with a black interior... Sorry, but this auction is a fraud... It looks like someone saw an Enzo parked in some shopping center and decided to take pictures of it... Then maybe followed it somewhere else and got some more pictures...
