What is the alarm showing on the dash? Is it showing as fully or partially open?
Does it beep at you as soon as you push the button?
Have you verified that your fluid level is correct?

    Hi Fred,
Thank you for your reply . There is no alarm or beeping and the display is normal showing top closing .

I have checked the fluid level and it is correct . The top is not jamed as when I see it is not going to close so release the operating switch the top then pops up around 1 inch , if I then reverse the switch top goes down hatch closes and flaps and windows go up as normal .

I Have checked micro switchs on l/h flap are operating ok , I suspect another micro switch but do not know where to look .

What you are describing is the top not folding correctly during closing. The roof cross bars must be in the correct position for it close fully to allow the clam shell cover the come down and side wings to go up. check the elastic on the cross bars/bow bars in diagram #115 it doesn't have part number but bolt #11 holds it in place. if this bars is not folded correctly the top won't close fully. Without a diagnostic tool and knowledge of how it all works its almost impossible to tell whats wrong. Good luck
