Looks like I'm going to give up going
in May...First lamborghini dealer wouldn't install 5 point harnesses. Legal liability. Then
I contacted FX performance (a full blown race oriented shop. They said sure no problem..I buy Simpson system had them drop ship to FX. Fx came out picked up my car Tuesday. This morning the head mechanic calls..Sorry we are not going to be able to install belts. We spent several hours
going over drawings and then our attorney told us for legal liability reasons we should not
do the job." That plus race organizer is dragging his feet on rollbar waiver. Bummed out!

Don't count on it Ferrari turnout at Silverstate is a joke. 1 or 2 cars out of 200+ entrants.15-20 Porsches,15 or so Vipers ton of Corvettes.

    Wayne,

Is this something peculiar to California. Here on the East Coast most shops will do it. Even my authorized dealer Ferrari of Washington will do this work and I have never heard of this being an issue at aftermarket performance shops.

Well it looks like it may work yet? FX had my seats out carpet removed
when "Ferrari" rep in the shop gave him some legal advice. He is an authorized Ferrari Frame and paint shop.n He is also an authorized Lamborghini frame shop.

Now as it stands FX will take the car to my Porsche guy to install belts. He will get the car back to FX for re-fitting of seats and carpets.
Even a simple thing can be made difficult.
