For the last several days, our website has been inundated with credit card scammers/testers/scum which are throwing hundreds of stolen and/or random credit card numbers into our payment processor --- presumably to see if any cards 'hit' as valid. I don't think the scumwad doing this actually wants any merchandise; I think they're just trying to see which cards might work.

Anyway, the same product is being hit every time. The same 'billing' address is being used every time. The same IP addresses range is being used every time. The same buyer's email address is being used every time. In other words, it's a pretty amateur operation!

Although our fraud detection filters have blocked 100% of the transactions, the 'attempts' keep coming. So, trying to further smoke out the fecal-brained moron, I've raised the price of their 'target' item quite substantially... $47,000 actually.

I don't want to post a specific link or details of the scammer here. But, if you're looking for Hill Engineering exhaust tip sleeves for your F430, rest assured I have them in stock and they're not actually $47,000.

Just telephone me (or DM here) and we can process a transaction manually. They're $305 for the set.

I'll reset the price of this item correctly on our website once this jackwad goes away in a few days.

It's most likely an automated script that has a list of CC numbers and uses a VPN that rotates IP addresses. The script is not smart enough to vary the item and shipping address.

@CoreyNJ agreed. I was hoping that by changing the product price, it would cause the script to go haywire and just move on to another merchant. We'll see.

(If its any consolation, the script appears to have almost exclusively non-US credit card numbers. The card numbers seem to be from Mexico, SE Asia, and southern Europe.)
